I am what you would call a survivor. I grew up with an alcoholic father who molested me and abused all of us (my 3 sisters and my mum), I escaped a marriage with a controlling, abusive husband and lost a son in the course of this action ( My ex strongly believes that children have to decide whom they love more, mom or dad, in a divorce). I went through pretty hard times financially after the divorce. But nothing could ever crush my spirit. Something inside me always made me go on and to hold my head up high. I never lost the believe that a higher spirit is watching over me and that even the worse things in life happen for a reason and that all will be good in the end.

I love people and believe there is some good in everybody, you just have to take the time and make the effort to find it.
Treating people they way I want to be treated was always something that helped me with building relationships. Even my plumber loves me.lol

I love to read and to sing. From the moment I was tought to read, no written word was safe from me (my parents had to start hiding non-appropriate literature from me). I have a genuine love for the written word. I express my feelings often by writing poems.

I absolutely love to sing and am a choir member in our local church. Music is my true love!
